Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.Job DescriptionWe are seeking to appoint a Principal Civil Engineer in our Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast office. This is a newly created role due to strong organic growth. You will report directly into the State Director and have the backing of a team of over 260 experts nationally. You will be tasked with leading a project delivery team in a bid to achieve client commitments and build client advocacy and confidence.Specifically:Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application, co-ordination of designs and contract administrationNegotiation with stakeholders (clients, Authorities, other consultants etc) in relation to project deliverables (approvals, applications, contractual matters) to ensure the successful delivery of projectsDevelop relationships with potential clients and improve/maintain existing client relationshipsAssist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads to meet project deliverablesContribute to sustainable profit generation and growthManage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgementRecruit, manage, train and mentor staffManage financial targets including budgets, profitability etcQualificationsProven experience planning and managing projects through involvement in all stages of project deliveryDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsExperience budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk managementHigh level industry awareness and engagementRelevant tertiary qualificationsREPQ certification desirableAdditional InformationAt Colliers, we are enterprising.
